Pin Woven Vest

Description

This technique is wonderful for fabrics and fibers alike. The base is warped with chenile yarn, then wefted with fabric strips, ribbons, and fancy fibers. I like to break up the sections, reversing the direction of the warp. I further embellish the woven fabric with ribbon berries, fabric yo-yos, additional ribbon, and buttons. Quite fun for a pillow or a purse as well.
