Poinsettia Basket Wall Hanging

12-1/2" wide x 9-1/2" tall

This small wall hanging is made of pieced silk fabrics with rickrack, jacquard and satin trims.

The piecing was done on a muslin square, for stability.

The base of the basket is a bit of vintage lace, that just seemed to find a home here.

The embroidery stitches are done in silk ribbon sizes 2mm, 4mm and 7mm.
