The fabrics I used are vintage sari borders; vintage silk ikat; and silk charmeuse and shantung fabrics.
The free form embroidery stitches were stitched in metallic threads. Seed and bugle beads were used to enhance the embroidery stitches. Vintage nail-head beads are stitched in the center.
