This pillow started as a teaching sample for the various stitches used in Elegant Additions.
Three sizes of silk ribbon were used in embroidery: 2mm, 4mm, and 7mm; two sizes of Hanah silk bias ribbon were used: 7/16" and 5/8"; 10mm ombre ribbon and 5mm ombre ribbon were used for flowers and leaves; silk rococo trim was used for embellishments; several colors of Caron Collections "Wildflowers" were used; several colors of buttonhole twist were used.
The stitches used include both free-form and silk ribbon embroidery. I also used ribbon worked flowers and leaves. |
