Original Faerie Chatelaine is made in vibrant colors of turquoise, purple and peach. Vintage and new glass beads and charms were used to created the dangles.

These necklaces are all examples of the "Faerie Chatelaine" pattern. Three strands of different sized seed beads are stitched at intervals into five larger beads to create the base of this necklace which hangs about 24" from the neck. Tasseled strands of seed beads and novelty beads emit from the larger beads, and the center focal bead.
This is a very simple technique that showcases all of those wonderful components you have been saving for just the right project.
I felt that faeries were in no way concerned with traditional items such as keys for their castle locks and chastity belts. I thought that they would be more interested in flowers, leaves, shells, butterflies and other wonderful natural things.
