These are two examples of my "Dragonfly Brooch" pattern. The body of the dragonfly is a dentalium shell covered in size 15 seed beads circular peyote stitched to the base. The wings are made with brick stitched delica beads.
The first dragonfly is attached to an antique Mother of Pearl disc embellished with free form peyote beaded leaves, vintage MOP discs and glass beads.
The second pin's base is a wire covered in Hanah silk bias ribbon encrusted with silk bias ribbon flowers, vintage and new glass beads stitched leaves.
