This necklace is a pattern adapted from Horace R. Goodhue's book "Indian Bead-Weaveing Patterns", by Cheri Lynne Waltz. I took the class from her and fell in love with the feminine beauty of her adaptation.
The base of the necklace is made with size 11 seed beads, with dangles made from vintage and new glass beads and fresh water pearls.
The first bracelet "Beaded Lantern" is an adaptation of my "New Fangled Dangle" pattern.
The second bracelet "Netted Jewels" is an adaptation of a pattern I found in an old issue of Bead and Button Magazine. The netted stitch is fun and worked up quickly.
The vintage enamel earrings with the glass pearl centers were a gift from "Auntie Bea" from her trip to Spain. |
