Boadicea Celtic Goddess- Beaded Jewelry Ensemble

necklace made with seed beads and vintage buttons

The focal point of this necklace pattern, "Knot to be Believed" were the incredible ra ku leaves from the company Rama. The three center leaves and the ginkgo leaves in the earrings inspired the use of earth and sea colors.

The base of the necklace is a macrame square knot using rayon cord. The buttons are tied into the base. I used a variety of materials for the buttons, including vintage celluloid "French Ivory"; molded glass and patterned brass. Other dangles include Mother of Pearl leaf charms and glass beads.

The bracelet on the left is "Klimpt Kollage Kuff" pattern, with buttons sewn onto a vintage jacquard ribbon base. Beads and charms are added for additional detail.

The other bracelet is made from "Fern's Hanging Garden"pattern which is a seed bead base with dangles, buttons and beads added for a sea anemone effect.
