Beginning Group

Cloth Art Doll made by Christen Brown

This group of dolls were all made from Eleanor Piece Bailey doll patterns. She is certainly an inspiration to many doll makers, myself included.

I took a class from her over 20 years ago. I am not sure what the name of the class was, but as she made a doll, each student was given a limb to stuff. While we were all hard at work she told us about her life. She is a very free spirit, her dolls well adjusted, and as I have said before an inspiration!

The top row of dolls stand about 11" high, the patterns being the Pierrot and the Victorian Lady.

The bottom row are from various other patterns, and stand about 7" tall.
