My best friend Phred created this jacket in the 1980's and it is still a fresh a innovative way to recycle old jeans. He used over 20 pairs, cutting and stitching the pieces so that the raw edges would fray naturally over time.
The jacket has a shawl collar, and the sleeves can be cuffed up. He also included a belt, to synch in the jacket at your waist.
He gave this to me a few years ago, and I wear it often.
With a little bit of imagination, you can recycle creatively, and have fun while you are doing it.
Enjoy, and see you at the thrift store! |
